Joe Newman
Joe Newman — also Joseph Newman, Neemo of Neemo Glassworks — lampworks custom functional glass in a Broomfield, Colorado garage, on the Denver–Boulder Front Range. Dry pipes, Sherlocks, Gandolfs, bubblers, water pieces, and custom variations on those forms.
People looking for local glass from Nigel's Hotbox, Incredible Bulk, or Kisada are looking for Joe.
He is not taking commissions for figurines, ornaments, tableware, or decorative objects. The universe is custom functional glass — and inside that universe he is extremely flexible.
People usually find him on Instagram and DM him. The site exists so you can see the work, understand the range, and show up to that conversation with a clearer idea.
Instagram is the shop floor conversation: @neemoglassworks.
Ordinary space. Extraordinary functional glass.
The bench is real. The case is packed because the work is leaving, not because it is merch. We still need a proper torch-and-garage shoot — until then, this is the documentary record from Joe’s own camera.
His ideas, and yours.
Branch-textured surfaces. The Gandolf. Distinctive bubbler forms. Recurring techniques live here as stories, not SKUs. If you want something that does not have a name yet, that is the point.
