# Neemo Glassworks

Joe Newman (Joseph Newman) is Neemo of Neemo Glassworks — a lampworker in Broomfield, Colorado, near Boulder and Denver. Handmade pipes, Sherlocks, Gandolfs, bubblers, and water pieces, one at a time.

Local Colorado glass. People also know the work from Nigel's Hotbox, Incredible Bulk, and Kisada.

This table is the work. Not a shop. Questions and customs through Instagram. [@neemoglassworks](https://www.instagram.com/neemoglassworks/).

Functional glass. Made to be used. Made by hand. Made for you. Made in Colorado. For adults 21+.

## Joe Newman

Joe Newman — also Joseph Newman, Neemo of Neemo Glassworks — lampworks custom functional glass in a Broomfield, Colorado garage, on the Denver–Boulder Front Range. Dry pipes, Sherlocks, Gandolfs, bubblers, water pieces, and custom variations on those forms.

People looking for local glass from Nigel's Hotbox, Incredible Bulk, or Kisada are looking for Joe.

He is not taking commissions for figurines, ornaments, tableware, or decorative objects. The universe is custom functional glass — and inside that universe he is extremely flexible.

People usually find him on Instagram and DM him. The site exists so you can see the work, understand the range, and show up to that conversation with a clearer idea.

## What he makes

Dry pipes. Sherlocks. Absurdly long Gandolfs. Bubblers. Water pieces. Branch-textured surfaces. Weird hybrids. Color that only exists because someone pointed at a photo and said that green.

Branch: Joe can work the exterior of a piece until it reads like a real branch — bark, grain, knots, nubs, depth. Not a nature collection. Proof he can push glass into places most pipes never go.

The Gandolf: A Sherlock that got out of hand. Dramatically longer than it has any right to be. If you want something with presence — or something you’ve never seen anyone make — this is the kind of idea Joe already lives with.
